I think I'm going to quit reading biographies. After about 150 pages I decided that I'd had enough of this one. "IF" we are to believe only a portion of what Porter wrote...what a horrid life! However, Porter did not need to be so explicit.
After a bit of flipping through the book, finding ads for other books Porter has written in the back of this book, then doing a bit of checking on the internet...I realized that Porter writes for the shock value. And, in my opinion, many of his works if not pornographic, are border-line pornographic.
