- ABOUT THE FRIENDS OF THE DAINGERFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY The Friends of the Daingerfield Public Library is a 501c3 non-profit corporation established in 2006 that enables the Daingerfield Public Library to offer the best library service possible to everyone in our community. Individuals, families, local businesses, and corporations are all encouraged to join and make a difference. Some members support the Friends by paying their annual dues, while others become more involved by donating their time. Proceeds from our fundraisers are used to benefit the Daingerfield Public Library.

Our mission is to provide the Daingerfield Public Library with support to make it a place that all of our local citizens will use and be proud of.
To accomplish our mission, the Friends purchase special materials for the library, assist with funding for library projects, and provide volunteers for events and programs at the Daingerfield Public Library.
