Therapets!

Be certain to mark your calendars for our next summer program. Therapets will be entertaining you on Wednesday, August 6. Be sure to be at the Morris County Courthouse Annex at 10:30 a.m. for a great show!

These animals are used in the healing and rehabilitation of acute and chronically ill individuals. Their program will demonstrate the results of the training their animals receive.

Be on the lookout for miniature ponies, dogs, and cats!

Wildlife on the Move - July 8

Have you ever tried to give a serious presentation while a boa constrictor is prodding and poking and wrapping itself around you? And thithering it's tongue between your eyes? With all this going on, the children were waving their hands in the air asking questions, answering questions, and wanting to be the next to hold one of the creatures. (The sprinkles on his shirt are one of the hazards of the job...tortoise pee-pee.)

2008 Summer Events

Every year, the Daingerfield Public Library brings in special events for the local children. No admission is charged for these events. The first event held on June 11 was Mr. Jazzz, a balloon artist. Mr. Jazzz enthralled the adults as well as his children with his fantastic balloon twisting feats!
