With sorrowful hearts, we offer our prayers for comfort to Earlene and the rest of her family.Funeral services for Beulah L. Wilson, 89, of Daingerfield, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 17 at Reeder Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson will lie in state on Tuesday afternoon and evening at the funeral home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Wilson died Feb. 14, 2010. She was born October 1, 1920 to the parents of O.W. and Annie Lou Stevens. She was a Baptist and loved to fish, cook, dance and quilt.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Cathey Wilson of Daingerfield; daughter Linda Powell of Daingerfield, daughter and son-in-law Beckle and Bill Kirkley of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law Earlene and Robert Walton of Daingerfield, sons-in-law Richard Williams of Jenkins and Bill Honea of McKinney; brother and sister-in-law J.W. and Beckie Stevens of Fort Worth; sisters-in-law Nell Stevens of Daingerfield and Mackie Stevens of Winnie; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband Henry Earl Wilson and daughters Carolyn Williams and Wonda Honea.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Cancer Foundation.
