Our librarian was held up at gunpoint this past Monday. Arrested at Wal-Mart later the same day, the armed robber stole a donation jar with less than $100 in it. When arrested, $38 was recovered and returned to the librarian.As you can see from the photo, she has recovered quite nicely with the help of a basket full of her favorite chocolate candy which she received from friends.
To make it easier and safer for her, please make your donations to the Friends of the Daingerfield Public Library at Texas Heritage National Bank in Daingerfield.
We are so thankful to God that she was not injured and that no one else was in the library at the time of the robbery.
